Andreas Block is Director of Communications at the Munich Security Conference (MSC). In this role, he heads the communications team that informs the media and public about the activities of the MSC.

Before joining the MSC, he was Head of Digital Communications at the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government (BPA). He also worked as Managing Editor at the BPA and in the management of the Office of the Government Spokesperson. Andreas Block studied journalism and social sciences in Dortmund and San Diego. He completed his journalistic training at the Neue Westfälische in Bielefeld.
