Fynn-Niklas Franke is Publications Manager in the Berlin Office of the Munich Security Conference (MSC).

Prior to joining the MSC, he worked for several Dutch research institutes on a research project about the Indonesian War of Independence. He also worked as a consultant for the GIZ on the Enhancing Security Cooperation in and With Asia (ESIWA) project and, among other things, lead an activity to strengthen children's rights in the context of counterterrorism and the prevention of violent extremism (CT/PVE).

Fynn studied Southeast Asian Studies and International Relations in Hamburg, Yogyakarta and Leiden. In October 2022, he received a second master's degree from the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg (IFSH), graduating with a thesis on the role of human rights in the European Union's external counterterrorism policy.
