Isabell Kump

Policy Advisor

Isabell Kump is a Policy Advisor with the Munich Security Conference (MSC). She focuses on topics related to the security-development nexus, global health, EU foreign and security policy, and UN peacekeeping. She is particularly interested in promoting peace, security, and development in the Sahel region.

Before joining the MSC, she worked in the Global Issues Division at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin and as Program Officer at SWP Brussels. She studied Sociology and Political Science in Erlangen-Nuremberg, Münster, and Östersund. During her studies, she gained work experience in various institutes for social research and policy consulting, and the SWP Brussels office.
