Jamel Flitti
Jamel Flitti is Director of Programs of the Munich Security Conference.
Prior to that, Jamel was Head of the Chairman’s Office and provided strategic advice and organizational support to the Chairman. Before joining the MSC, he worked at the Permanent Mission of Liechtenstein to the United Nations, New York, as Advisor for Political and Humanitarian Affairs and as Personal Assistant to the Ambassador. Moreover, he gained professional experience in then-Federal Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s parliamentary office and in a strategic communications consultancy.
Jamel holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science and studied at the Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg, the Free University of Berlin, and the American University of Beirut. He is teaching at the Otto-Suhr-Institute of the Freie Universität Berlin. He is alumni of the German National Academic Foundation and member of the Körber Network Foreign Policy and the Forum for Young Social Democratic Foreign Policy.
