Katharina (Nina) Pachmayr has been working for the Munich Security Conference since 2017. As Head of Communications, she is responsible for developing communication strategies, coordinating media appointments, managing communication activities and overseeing the various MSC channels.

She was able to gain further insights in the communications departments of BMW, Deutsche Bahn and Bayerischer Rundfunk. In 2017, she graduated from the master's program in International Relations and completed two internships at the Federal Academy for Security Policy in Berlin and the United Nations Liaison Office of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in New York.
