Mariyana Georgieva is Assistant to the Chairman of the Munich Security Conference (MSC).

Before joining the MSC, she worked as an interpreter and personal Assistant to the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Berlin. She has a solid academic background and has worked as Assistant Professor at the department for German Studies and The School for Conference Interpreters of the Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski“ for several years.
