Niklas Hutz works as Special Assistant to the CEO at the Munich Security Conference.

Before joining the MSC, he worked in the Office of the Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Defense. Prior to that, he gained numerous work experiences, among others at the German Embassy in Belgrade, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), a policy consultancy in Berlin as well as at several research institutions and chairs.

Niklas studied Political Science and Business Administration at the University of Mannheim and at Trinity College in Dublin before completing his Master's degree in International Relations in Konstanz and at Rutgers University in the USA.
