Senior Researcher
Nora Kürzdörfer is a Senior Researcher at the Munich Security Conference (MSC) and leads the MSC Geoeconomics Project "Beyond Lose-Lose." She contributes to the work of the Research & Publications Team and focuses on the intersection of economic and security policy and on cooperation between countries in Europe and the Global South.
Nora has published policy briefs, academic papers, and opinion pieces. Prior to joining the MSC, she was a research fellow at the Cluster of Excellence “Contestations of the Liberal Script – SCRIPTS” and at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA). She was a scientific advisor at the German Foreign Office and gained work experience at the European Union Delegation to New Zealand and the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce. She holds a PhD from the Hertie School in Berlin and is a NextGeneration Associate Fellow at the NATO Defense College in Rome.
