The program of the MSC 2024 consists of different formats. In addition to the speeches and panel discussions on the main stage at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Townhall discussions (interactive sessions of the main program) and roundtables will offer opportunities for exchanges in a smaller setting. Furthermore, numerous outreach events will take place at different locations in Munich during the conference weekend. Attendance to these outreach events is open to the public. In due course, an overview of the program can be found on our website.

As has been the case for the past six decades, the entire event and all its many components will be governed by the Munich Rule: Engage and interact with each other: Don't lecture or ignore one another. Whether on or off stage, we encourage our guests to engage with and learn from each other and we expect all our speakers to stand ready to answer questions and engage with the audience at eye level.
Press conferences take place at the Rosewood Munich next to the Hotel Bayerischer Hof (accessible via the press entrance at Prannerstraße, 80333 Munich). We will inform you about all current events via the screens at the Press Center and the events are also visible in your Press Portal. Selected press conferences will be streamed live on the MSC website or on the MSC social media channels on X, Facebook, or YouTube.
Press photos of Ambassador Dr Christoph Heusgen, chairman of the MSC, as well as Ambassador (ret.) Wolfgang Ischinger, President of the Foundation Council of the Munich Security Conference Foundation, can be found on our website and may be used for journalistic purposes.
