

MSC Security and Literature Series 2024
Thursday–Saturday, February 15–17, 2024
The MSC Security and Literature Series has long been an integral part of the Munich Security Conference. As in previous years, we expect prominent authors, leaders from around the world, and fascinating debates on the predictive and descriptive power of literature. All events will be held in English (except Day 3, which will be held in German).

Day 1 – "Global South"
Thursday, February 15, 7.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m.
Location: Saal, Literaturhaus München
On the first day, we will explore the many difficult themes surrounding the “Global South” and its role in global politics.

Day 2 – Italy

On the second day, we will focus on this year’s Guest of Honor of the Frankfurter Book Fair, the Italian Republic.

Day 3 – Ukraine

On the third day, prominent guests will gather to read works by the authors Volodymyr Vakulenko and Viktoria Amelina, who died in the Ukrainian war.
