Application period for side events at the 57th Munich Security Conference has opened

As in previous years, side events will be a central part of the conference weekend at the 57th Munich Security Conference.

Every year, the Munich Security Conference (MSC) offers leading organizations, institutions and partners with expertise in foreign and security policy the opportunity to host a side event as part of our annual flagship conference in February. In recent years, many renowned think tanks, governmental institutions, and civil society organizations, as well as international organizations and global corporations have used this opportunity to discuss current issues of global security policy directly with leading decision-makers and experts.

For the 57th Munich Security Conference, the MSC once again invites interested organizations to apply for hosting a side event.

All information about the application process as well as the thematic and operational requirements for side events at the 57th Munich Security Conference can be found here and in the Application Guidelines.

In the past months we have optimized the application process and made it more transparent, resulting in the requirement to submit all applications via a new online application form. To prepare for the application, you can also download the form as a PDF file. If you have any questions regarding side events at the 57th Munich Security Conference or the application process, please contact events@securityconference.org.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no Munich Security Conference in 2021. More information on the application process for the 57th Munich Security Conference, currently scheduled for February 2022, will be available in due time on the MSC website.
