Information on the press accreditation process

We kindly ask you to apply for an accreditation via the Press Accreditation Portal as early as possible. After the end of the accreditation period on January 31, 2023, a participation in the MSC 2023 is no longer possible.

  1. Please register in the Press Accreditation Portal under the tab "New User Registration" with your e-mail address and a password of your choice. Log-in data from previous years are not valid.

  2. In the Press Accreditation Portal, please enter all the necessary information and upload the relevant documents and evidence.
  3. The MSC Press Registration Team will then process your request and check the accuracy of the information you have provided. Please note that, taking into account various aspects, an application may be rejected in individual cases*.

  4. After a successful check on our part, the Munich police will carry out a Police Background Verification on your person.
  5. A formal press accreditation confirmation or rejection can be expected from the end of January at the earliest. The document will contain all relevant information on how to collect your conference badge.

We would like to bring to your attention that the MSC is not able to support the visa-issuing process of foreign media representatives.

MSC Media Hub

On our brand new MSC Media Hub you will find further information from A to Z about your participation in the MSC 2023 as a media representative.

* Background on a possible refusal of your application: The MSC values varied expertise in security, economics and foreign policy and aim to provide the best working conditions for all media representatives. However, the working space at the press center is limited and strict fire safety regulations are in place. Therefore, restrictions to the number of accredited media representatives to the MSC 2023 are inevitable. Under consideration of these circumstances, we ask for your understanding that we have to limit the number of accreditations per media outlet.
