Privacy Policy for the Newsletter of the Munich Security Conference

The Munich Security Conference respectively the service providers Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany and x-plizit IT solutions GmbH, Regensburger Strasse 19a, 93152 Nittendorf, Germany collect data when you register for the newsletter. The data collected will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be transmitted to third parties.

The following data is collected:

  • Surname, Name
  • E-mail address
  • Position and Organization
  • Country

Use of data

For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, i.e. we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail if you have confirmed that you want us to activate the newsletter service previously. We will then send you a notification e-mail and ask you to confirm that you would like to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link contained in this e-mail.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your IP address and the date of subscription. This storage is solely for the purpose of proof in case a third party misuses your email address to register you for the newsletter reception without your knowledge or authorization.

Withdrawal of the newsletter

You have the option to cancel the newsletter and the consent to the storage of your data at any time. Such revocation takes place via newsletter@securityconference.org and will be confirmed to you by the Munich Security Conference Foundation (non-profit) GmbH by e-mail. You have a right to correct incorrect data and to block or delete your personal data.
