Collapsing Order, Reluctant Guardians?
Ahead of the Munich Security Conference's 51st edition, the MSC published its first Munich Security Report (MSR), an annual digest on critical questions and important trends in international security policy. Topics include the Ukraine crisis, a survey of recent developments in jihadist extremism, and new challenges such as hybrid warfare.
In addition to a summary of important foreign and security policy developments, the Munich Security Report, "Collapsing Order, Reluctant Guardians?", encompasses data, statistics, maps, and recommendations for readings on key challenges of international security policy.
About the Report
Topics of this year's report include the Ukraine crisis, a survey of recent developments in jihadist extremism, new challenges such as hybrid warfare, and the global refugee crisis.
The report, which the MSC prepared in cooperation with numerous renowned research institutions, was presented on the evening of 26 January during the traditional MSC Kickoff event in Berlin. The presentation and following debate on German foreign policy was streamed live in German on the MSC webpage.
